Area to the East of trees is grass, why not place the addition there?

Perhaps the School District has OTHER plans for the North Lawn?
The following Master Plan from the School District and prepared by the Architectural Firm of Integrus shows a future North Addition. The following Master Plan shows the West Addition (last court yard and building section on the left attached to the main building) and the North addition (Blue building at the top of the diagram with the line stating classroom addition) plus New entry on the West (all red arrows are entries).

Though the School District has repeatedly stated to Save The Trees-Seattle and at Public meetings (March 18th and April 24th) that it can not place an addition on the North Lawn due to many factors--including the electricity ends on the West side not the North side of the building. It appears that in the future these factors will be able to be overcome. We propose that a NORTH addition would be appropriate NOW. A North addition NOW would SAVE THE TREES and would SAVE taxpayer dollars. Construct an addition on the North side now that will support two stories and give the School all the room it will need now. And in the future should Ingraham ever be full to capacity add the second story. Currently there are 1000 students at Ingraham. Currently Ingraham can house 1300 students. If the School would build on the North side NOW, and build to support 2 stories, the District could easily add a second story in the future. We ask once more for the District to explain to the Neighbors and the Citizens who pay for this continual piecemeal construction: Why can't the District build on the North now, and PLAN and PREPARE for a second story addition later? Why are the Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar and Madrone SO IMPORTANT to remove?
Is it because the School District is anti-environmentalist?
The actions of the District lead one to believe that the Environment is of no concern to the District. The example of the District is to kill and destroy trees while adding to Urban Sprawl. As the Diagram above shows. All the Dark Grey area is a one story building. Please also note that the property line currently does not include the Tennis Court relocation area, that area belongs to Parks. And the Parking is used for the Helene Madison Pool, which is NOT a part of the Ingraham campus. The Potential East parking lot, is currently a grove of trees known as the East Forest that is as old as the Ingraham Trees, and is also Madrone, Western Red Cedar and Douglas Fir. The Potential East Parking lot is only partially owned by the District, the rest belongs to Parks. If you look closely you can see the North-South property line. With the finding of this Master Plan, comes the realization that the School District is truly anti-environmentalist and will eventually destroy all the 75 plus year old Western Red Cedar, Madrone and Douglas Fir on Campus.
We need your help to fight this crime of continual destruction and killing of Urban Forest by the Seattle School District. We need your help to stand against the anti-environmentalist on the School Board and the Superintendent of the Seattle Schools. We have a legal defense fund, if you can assist in our expenses we will truly appreciate it.
Thank You.
